Federal Bank achieves Platinum Certification by IGBC under Green building category

Federal Bank has been inducted as a founding member of IGBC - India's Premier certification body for Green projects. The attached photo shows Regi C V-Head CSD and Sreeraj V , AEVP CSD receiving the founding member certificate at IGBC Green Building congress 2025 held at Jio World Convention centre, Mumbai from Mr Jamshyd N Godrej, Chairman and MD , Godrej and Boyce, Mr B Thiagarajan, MD of Bluestar and Charman IGBC, Mr Harish Bhat, Former Brand Custodian , Tata Sons, Mr Shekar Reddy Co Chairman , IGBC and Mr M Anand , Deputy Executive Director , IGBC . Following the induction Bank will have good visibility in all IGBC events . 

The Bank is also awarded platinum certification by IGBC for the office building Federal Towers, Ashokapuram under Green building category. This is the highest certification category for any Green building and Gold certification by IGBC for the 21 premises under Green interiors category. The attached photo shows Regi C V -Head CSD and CSD officials Sreeraj V and Anandhu P Haridas receiving the award at IGBC Green Building congress 2025 held at Jio World Convention centre, Mumbai from Mr Gurmit Singh , Chairman , Marketing and Outreach , IGBC and Mr Jeff Oatman, Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Network, Head of Collaboration and Membership , World Green Building council

By adhering to these guidelines will significantly reduce the environmental impact of the projects, enhance the well-being of building occupants, and contribute to a more sustainable future. The adoption of green building practices under IGBC not only supports environmental stewardship but also offers economic benefits through reduced operational costs and improved asset value. 

With the completion of these certifications 3.2 % of the total area occupied by Bank is now green certified premises.
