KVS Manian, the Managing Director & CEO of Federal Bank Ltd, brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent over two and a half decades in pivotal leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. His tenure at Kotak was marked by instrumental contributions to the bank's growth, including its transformation from a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) to a leading private sector bank in India.

In his previous role , Mr.Manian spearheaded Corporate, Institutional, and Investment Banking, along with Wealth Management. Under his leadership, these businesses achieved a high-quality, integrated, and profitable franchise, with the Corporate Bank growing significantly in both size and profitability, while maintaining best-in-class asset quality. The Investment Banking, Institutional Equities, and Wealth Management businesses have also retained their leadership positions under his stewardship. His focus on technology upgrades has further strengthened Kotak's transaction banking capabilities.

Before transitioning into corporate banking, Mr.Manian scripted significant successes in retail banking as well. As President of Consumer Banking, he was instrumental in growing the bank from a single branch to over 600 branches and 1,000 ATMs nationwide in just 10 years. He established Kotak's Retail Liability business from scratch and later managed the entire Consumer Banking division. 

Mr.Manian is an electrical engineer from IIT (BHU) – Varanasi, holds a Postgraduate degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and is a qualified Cost and Works Accountant.
 

Mr. Elias George has a bachelor’s degree of Technology in Naval Architecture and Ship Building, University of Kochi, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration with specialization in International Economic Relations from the Institute International Administration Publique (IIAP), Paris and assorted short-term Management Development courses in India and the U.S., including the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He completed his career in the Indian Administrative Service, serving both in various Union Ministries, as well as in the State of Kerala, focusing particularly on infrastructure creation and financing, and running public utilities. After retiring from the IAS, he served in the consulting firm KPMG as a senior partner, heading their vertical handling Infrastructure, Government, and Healthcare, overseeing the work of more than 1000 consultants. Mr. Elias George was the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Kerala, CEO of the Kochi Metro Rail project and Chairman of the Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority.

Siddhartha Sengupta is a seasoned banker with rich experience and has worked in various leadership positions in India and abroad. He has over 36 years of banking experience with State Bank of India. He was the Chairman of the Board of 5 overseas subsidiaries of SBI.  The last position he held in SBI was Deputy Managing Director – International Banking. He represents SSI, Risk Management and Banking sectors on the Board of Federal Bank

CA Manoj Fadnis is the founding partner of Fadnis  & Gupte , Chartered Accountants. He was elected as the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the year 2015-16. During 2010-13, he was the chairman of Accounting Standard Board (ASB) of ICAI. He spearheaded the process of the formulation of Indian Accounting Standards converged with the International Financial Reporting Standards. He was the President of Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants from 2017 to 2019. He was member of Small and Medium Practices Committee (SMPC) of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) from 2016-18. He is also on the Board of various companies

Sudarshan Sen has varied experience of over 36 years working in the RBI in the areas of Banking, Finance and Risk Management. He has rich experience as a central banker and in the field of bank supervision and regulation. He holds an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK. He was elevated to the post of Executive Director of RBI in the year 2016.

Varsha Purandare has a varied experience of 36 years in credit, forex, treasury, capital markets, investment banking, SSI and private equity businesses of State Bank of India (SBI) & SBI Capital Markets Ltd (SBICAPS) across geographies domestic & globally. She also served various Boards & Committees of several businesses of SBI and other institutions. She was also the former MD & CEO of SBI Capital Market Limited. She was the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer/ Chief Risk Officer (CCO/CCRO) of State Bank of India (“SBI”), from May 2014 to November 2015. Presently, she also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of various companies.

Sankarshan Basu is a professor of quantitative finance and risk management at IIM Bangalore. He has been involved in teaching, research, consulting and academic administration for more than 19 years covering areas in finance, financial markets, financial products, banking, clearing and settlement, risk management etc. He has specialisation in statistics and has been a Board member of The Clearing Corporation of India Limited, Bilcare Limited, BgSE Properties and Securities Limited and Bangalore Stock Exchange Limited. 

Ramanand Mundkur is a graduate from National Law School of India University having over twenty years of international work experience. He has worked as tax and legal practitioner with the global consulting firm Arthur Andersen till December 1997. Thereafter, he joined United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva as a lawyer and assisted the UN Commission in assessing compensation to banks/ companies/ business that suffered losses due to first gulf war and worked with UN Commission until May 2001. Later, he joined International Monetary Fund in Washington DC in 2002 and worked till 2007 before setting up Mundkur Law Partners firm in 2007. He specializes in providing legal and business advice for mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investment, securities regulation and insolvency resolution & winding up of companies.

Harsh Dugar has assumed the role of Executive Director at Federal Bank, effective June 23, 2023. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Group President and Country Head – Wholesale Banking at the Bank. With an extensive background in Corporate Banking, Capital Markets operations, Institutional Banking, Commercial Banking, Agri, Micro, Rural Banking, Government Business, and Commercial Vehicles/Construction Equipments, Harsh brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.
 
Harsh joined Federal Bank in 2016 as the Country Head for Corporate and Institutional Banking, following a successful 20-year tenure at HDFC Bank. He has garnered considerable experience in Wholesale Banking across diverse geographies. His academic accomplishments include a bachelor's degree with Honors in Accounting & Finance from the University of Calcutta, where he graduated as the University Topper. Moreover, he holds professional qualifications as a CWA (Cost and Works Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) with All India Rank distinction. In the early stages of his career, Harsh served as a part-time faculty member at ICFAI Business School in Kolkata.

Mr Divakar Dixit is presently the Chief Credit Officer of the Bank. He joined the Bank in 2017 as Vice President in the National Credit Hub. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the Bank's credit policies & strategies.

Mr. Johnson K Jose is the Chief Technology Officer of the Bank and the controller of FedServ. He joined Federal Bank on 24th February 1997 as Manager (Systems) and has over 27 years of experience in Information Technology & Operations. He has overseen and directed Federal Operations & Services Limited (FedServ) and the Operations Department prior to the current assignment.
Mr. Johnson K Jose holds a BE in Electronics.

Sanjesh Kumar is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a seasoned banker having 25 years of experience in banking with rich experience in credit and Market Risk. Sanjesh Kumar joined our Bank as Vice President-Credit on 24 January 2018 and later assumed the role of Head-Credit (CIB) at the Executive Vice President level before taking up the current assignment.

Mr. Kapil Bhatia is the Group President & Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB). With over 20 years of experience in trade finance, credit, and transaction banking, he has previously served as VP & Unit Head – Corporate Banking at HDFC Bank and Associate Director at BNP Paribas. Mr. Kapil Bhatia holds an MBA in Finance, a PG Diploma in Marketing, and a Mini-MBA from Rutgers University, USA.

Mr. Lakshmanan V is the Group President & Head of Treasury. He joined Federal Bank on 12th April 2018 as Head – Sales (Derivatives & Treasury Products). Before joining Federal Bank, he was the Global Markets Head – Corporate Treasury Sales, India at BNP Paribas. Mr. Lakshmanan earned his Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

 Mr. Sunil Kumar is currently the Chief Compliance Officer of the Bank. He is a Postgraduate in Law, having more than two decades of proficiency in Banking and Law. He joined Federal Bank on 15th July 2019. He has got vast experience and expertise working with various banking institutions in different capacities. He was also actively associated with many expert committees and working groups constituted by Reserve Bank of India and Government of India. Before joining Federal Bank, he was working at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore and India.

Virat Sunil Diwanji is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience in Consumer Banking. He was previously working with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Group President and Head-Consumer Bank and has also worked in Ford Credit and A F Fergusion & Co and also serves on the Board of a few companies as Non-Executive Director/ Independent Director. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering).

Virat is a value-focused, team builder with great vintage invested into Banking domain with a perfect blend of Liabilities and Asset business expertise, covering Retail Branch Banking and Consumer/ Commercial Asset lending. He has played a vital role in launching and establishing specific customer segment businesses and also executed strategies which drove Productivity, Proficiency and Profitability resulting in long term value creation for the clientele and other stakeholders. He is a proven team leader with result-oriented execution tactics using market / product knowledge coupled with strong focus on process, governance and integrity.

Mr Eqbal Manoj is  the Head of Branch Banking. He Joined the Bank in 1998 as and has experience of 26+ years in various facets of Bank. Prior to his current assignment, he was a Zonal Head and had previously headed the SME Business Department and Planning Department. Mr. Eqbal Manoj holds a BE in Computer Science and a CAIIB qualification.

Mr. Damodaran is presently the Chief Risk Officer of the Bank. He joined Federal Bank on 24th August 1998 as Probationary Officer. He has more than 23 years of experience in various facets of banking which includes Branch Banking, Risk Management, Planning, MIS & Analytics. Mr. Damodaran played a major role in implementation of Basel norms in the Bank. He has more than 13 years of experience in Risk Management covering Market Risk, Credit Risk and Operational Risk. He was heading Planning, MIS & Analytics Department of the Bank, prior to his appointment as Chief Risk Officer of the Bank in May 2021. He is an M.Sc & CAIIB by qualification.

Mr Rajanarayanan N is presently the Chief Human Resources Officer of the Bank. He joined the Bank on 7th September 1998 as Probationary Officer. He has more than 25 years of experience in various facets of Banking which includes Branch Banking, Service Quality, Marketing, Investor Relations, Loan Collection & Recovery. He is an MBA & CAIIB by qualification.

Mr. Indraneel Ajitkumar Pandit is currently the Chief Digital Officer of the Bank. He Joined the Bank on 23rd July 2019 from YES Bank where he was Group Executive Vice President. Prior to that he has worked with multiple organizations including DBS Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

He was serving as Senior Vice President & Zonal Business Head (CIB) before taking up the assignment of Chief Digital Officer. He holds a graduation in BE Mechanical and post-graduation in MMS.

Mr. Joy P V currently overseeing the Retail Liability & Fee Products of the Bank. He joined Federal Bank in 1993. Worked in various Branches and Departments like IT, Planning, CEO’s Secretariat and Network – II. Headed Mumbai Region, Kottayam Zone and Planning Department prior to his current assignment as Country Head – Retail Liability & Fee Products. He is B.Sc graduate, completed MSW and CAIIB.

 Mr. Samir P Rajdev joined Federal Bank as Deputy Company Secretary in January 2019. He was elevated to the post of Company Secretary in December 2019. Prior to joining Federal Bank, he has worked with NCDEX, Yes Bank, NSE and ISE. He is a qualified CS and has completed Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.

Mr. Biju K is presently the Chief Data Protection Officer of the Bank and designated as Principal Nodal Officer (PNO). He joined the Bank on 2nd May 1994 as Probationary Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in various facets of banking which includes Branch Banking, Information Technology,  Risk Management. He has served as Executive Vice President & Chief Vigilance Officer of the bank prior to his appointment as Chief DPO in August 2025. He is an engineering graduate having relevant certifications in IT Security & Privacy. He is a certified Lead Auditor in Personal Information Management system(PIMS) and has acquired DCPLA certification from Data Security Council of India(DSCI). He has also secured certifications such as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA Illinois USA.

Mr. Chitrabhanu K G serves as the Executive Vice President and Country Head for Agri, Micro & Rural Banking at the Bank. In this role, he leads the Bank’s strategic initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive growth and enhancing financial access across rural and semi-urban markets, in alignment with the Bank’s vision.

With a distinguished tenure of over 27 years at the Bank, Mr. Chitrabhanu brings a wealth of experience across multiple banking domains. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Country Head for Retail Assets and Cards, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the Bank’s retail lending portfolio. His expertise  in the retail business spans more than 14 years. Mr. Chitrabhanu holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and an MBA.

Mr. Mahesh R serves as the Executive Vice President and Country Head for Loan Collection & Recovery at the Bank. In this role, he leads the Bank’s strategic initiatives in loan recovery, ensuring strong credit discipline and maintaining portfolio health across geographies.

Having joined the Bank in 1996, Mr. Mahesh brings nearly three decades of experience across diverse banking functions. Prior to his current role, he served as Zonal Head in Branch Banking, with his extensive experience spanning key areas including  Retail Business.

Mr. Mahesh holds a Master’s degree in Technology (M.Tech) and is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Predeep K serves as the Executive Vice President and Country Head for Commercial Banking at the Bank. In this capacity, he leads the strategic growth and development of the Commercial Banking segment, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s  o bjectives and long-term vision.

With over 27 years of service at the Bank, Mr. Predeep brings a wealth of experience across multiple domains. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Zonal Business Head for Corporate & Institutional Banking, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the Bank’s institutional footprint. His career also includes extensive experience in Branch Banking and Human Resources.

Mr. Predeep holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Human Resources.

Mr. Jimson Cherian serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Credit for Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Vehicles/Construction Equipment, and Agri segments at the Bank. In this role, he leads the Bank’s credit strategy ensuring sound credit practices and sustainable growth.

Having joined the Bank in 1994, Mr. Jimson brings over three decades of banking experience, including more than 12 years in credit functions. His deep domain expertise spans multiple business verticals, enabling him to drive prudent credit decisions aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.

Mr. Jimson holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has completed multiple certifications in Credit and Information Systems Audit. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Nitin Jalan serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Credit for Corporate & Institutional Banking at the Bank. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the credit strategy and risk governance for corporate clients.  Mr. Nitin joined the Bank in 2024 bringing with him over 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the Bank, he held the position of Executive Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, He holds a master’s degree in  Management, and brings a strong blend of analytical expertise and strategic insight to his leadership role.

Virendra Suryabhan Somwanshi is a highly accomplished, results-driven professional with over 26 years of extensive experience in Private Wealth, Retail Banking, and Financial Services across multiple geographies. He was previously working with Bank of Baroda as Group President and Head, Wealth Management, Capital Markets and NRI Business and has worked with Motilal Oswal Private Wealth, Bank of Baroda Capital Markets Ltd, Citi Bank, DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd and SKF Bearings India Ltd. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. MVS Murthy joined the Bank as Chief Marketing Officer on 06.07.2022 and would be responsible for the functions of Marketing Department. M V S has got vast experience across BFSI in Banks, Insurance, Broking and Mutual Funds namely Ogilvy, Urja Communications, ICICI Bank, Edelweiss, TATA AIG and Tata Mutual Fund. He is a strong CXO level Marketing led Business & Entrepreneurial Leader with an exceptional track-record of building and leading high growth verticals. Prior to joining us, he was Heading – Marketing, Digital & Corporate Communication at TATA AMC.

M V S holds an MBA specialised in Marketing from ITM, Bombay, and has successfully completed a Professional Program in Board Governance from SP Jain School of Global Management.

Srinivasan P is a senior Banking Leader with 22 years of experience across Corporate Banking, Trade Finance and Digital Transformation Initiatives. Has proven track record in leading teams, customer acquisition, deal structuring, credit appraisal, policy frame works that align with the bank’s strategic priorities. He comes with strong leadership in business development, risk management, and client engagement, with deep understanding of lending, trade finance and treasury solutions. He is adept at driving strategic growth, working with regulators, technology teams and senior leadership to implement impactful banking initiatives & strategic mandates and is experienced in lending to various sectors and large corporations. He was previously working with HDFC Bank as Regional Head - Multinational Corporates Coverage and has worked with ABN AMRO Central Enterprise Pvt ltd. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.

Ms. Bincy Cherian oversees the Bank's internal vigilance function. With over 26 years of experience, she has led large corporate credit portfolios and held key leadership roles across various verticals, including the Large Corporate Hub. She holds a postgraduate degree in Agriculture, is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and Certified Fraud Examiner.

Mr. Manikandan M is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a licensed Certified Public Accountant (USA). He has been associated with the Bank since October 2013 . During his tenure, he has demonstrated a consistent track record across financial reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and capital management.

He is a Gold Medalist in Bachelor of Commerce, a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance and completed Strategic Leadership Programme of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Under his leadership, the Bank received the ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting (Plaque for FY 2021 and Silver Shield for FY 2022), as well as the SAFA Certificate of Merit (FY 2021). He has also played a key role in major capital raising initiatives of the Bank, including Qualified Institutional Placements, preferential allotments and debt issuances. He is also a recipient of the prestigious CA 40 Under 40 Award 2025 instituted by ICAI and Business Standard, recognizing his contributions to financial reporting.

His strong governance orientation, deep expertise in financial reporting, regulatory matters and proven leadership capabilities, position him well to support continuity and stability in the Bank’s finance function.
